Wave Browser was built on a simple belief: the web can work better for people and for our ocean.
Our February 2026 Impact Report reflects that mission in measurable action; real cleanup, real locations, and real results made possible by the Wave community.
Through our Certified Cleanup Partnership with 4ocean, Wave Browser helps fund the removal of plastic and trash from our ocean, rivers, and coastlines. The latest report shows how everyday browsing translates into tangible environmental progress.
Plastic and trash removed in February 2026
According to the February 2026 Impact Report:
- 7,502 pounds of plastic and trash removed in February alone
- 15 cleanup events conducted
- 85,040 pounds removed through our lifetime partnership impact
This is not symbolic impact. It represents organized cleanup crews, collected debris, and materials processed for responsible handling.
And it’s just the beginning.
Wave Browser’s long-term goal, through its partnership with 4ocean, is to remove 300,000 pounds of trash from our ocean, rivers, and coastlines by 2028. We may choose to do more, but we’ll never do less.
Where Cleanup Is Happening

February’s cleanup efforts focused on:
- Indonesia
- Guatemala
These are regions where plastic pollution significantly affects waterways, coastal ecosystems, and local communities. Cleanup funding supports crew wages, vessels, and necessary supplies to safely remove debris from impacted environments.
Each pound removed represents physical labor, logistics, coordination, and verified reporting.
Transparency matters. That’s why monthly impact reports document location, weight, and event totals.
Why This Matters for Wave Users

Wave Browser is designed for people who want their technology to reflect their values without changing how they work.
You don’t need to adjust your workflow.
You don’t need to learn a new system.
You browse normally.
Wave helps support ocean cleanup operations through our partnership with 4ocean. That includes:
- Funding for cleanup crews
- Equipment and vessels
- Materials processing
- Verified reporting
This is impact built into the browsing experience as Wave's ongoing commitment.
As of February 2026, the Wave community has contributed to the removal of 85,040 pounds of plastic and trash from our ocean, rivers, and coastlines.
That number represents collective progress powered by thousands of users who choose a browser aligned with their values.
