In October 2025, Wave Browser and 4ocean continued their mission to make every tab count by cleaning the world’s waters.
Together, the partnership removed 7,500 pounds of plastic and trash from the ocean, rivers, and coastlines across Indonesia, bringing their lifetime impact to 55,020 pounds of waste removed.
The cleanups, carried out through 34 on-the-ground operations in Indonesia, focused on high-impact coastal zones where ocean-bound plastic is most concentrated. Crews worked along beaches, riverbanks, and near-shore waters, collecting, sorting, and processing debris that might otherwise end up harming marine life.
From Waste to Worth

The report outlines the process 4ocean uses to turn collected ocean waste into clean, reusable materials:
- First, crews sort by type, grade, and color to separate recyclable plastics.
- Next, the material is shredded into fine particles and sent through a wash tank that cleans and sorts by density.
- Finally, the purified material is dried and prepared for repurposing into new products, closing the loop from pollution to production.
This transparent process ensures that every pound of waste collected from our cleanups is handled responsibly and given new purpose. What once was garbage in the ocean is carefully cleaned, sorted, and transformed into recycled ocean plastic.
These materials are then reintroduced into the economy as sustainable resources, proving that what once polluted the sea can help build a cleaner, more responsible future.
